Hi people i have got a 1600 focus ghia on a 53 plate and I went to lower the rear window and heard the motor but window just dropped down can anyone tell me if its just slipped off the motor mechanism or something more serious would appreciate your help.

Almost defo broken the plastic retainer that goes at the base of the glass, at least with your age focus they are easy to get s/h, around £130 new I think for a new mechanism.

Another quick question had the RAC out to secure the window up and he broke all the padding that was under the door cover. I have booked the car into a ford dealer to have it done will they replace the padding as well do you think.
