What year/shape focus? what standard HU? is it the 6000 cd?

If so the 6000 will play copies but not mp3's. In my mk1, the standard changer is under the passenger seat mounted to the seat facing forwards.

yer sorry it is a 1998 mk1 and a 6000 cd player

i was thinking about either putting it under the seat or where the glove box drops down, putting it above that. almost under the passanger airbag.
do u hink that it is possible??

it don't matter where the music comes from, i problem i had was that the cd player did'nt like cheap blank cd's so, i used a branded name e.g. verbatim now the cd player plays the cd without 'cd error' or,does it 'jump' it stopped the problem for me
