Default Colour coding

Hello again guys. Need some opinions here please.

As seen below, i have now aquired an ST sty;e spoiler for my Focus and i wish to paint it the same colour as the rest of the car, pnather black. The door strips/Mouldings are still factoy grey as well as the bottom of the fron and rear bumpers and also the mirrors.

If i were to aquire panther black in a spray can from a ford dealer aswell as the clear coat, is there any reason to why i couldnt do this myself. Im no spray paint master but for all it is i was wondering is there any call for me to book it in to have the best parts of £400 worht of painting/labour to bankrupt me.

From what i see, all i would have to do it mask everything of very well and spry. All could be done in teh garage of my work

Your views please.

Thanks

I've used an aerosol to paint a few little bits on my old cars and they ahave always been fine. But a spoiler is a definate no, the poor quality paint would stick out like a sore thumb!

Get it done profesionally

They are held on with sticky tape, get some fishing line or something similar to cut through the tape and they will come off. Don't bend them though or they wont go back into shape very easily.
