Default manifold and lambda trouble

ive recently purchased a milltek manifold from pumaspeed and it only has 1 lambda hole. on my 03 focus 2.0 it has 2 lambda sensors. how do you block the first lambda and how can i extend the lower lambda to reach the hole? also i didnt recieve a flexi pipe for the full system, can the st170 fit without too much work? any help would be greatfull.

Have they given you the wrong system or have you bought the wrong one?

Mine had 1 one hole and 1 sensor, it is a 1.8 tho. so check 2 see if the 1.8 has 1 sensor and if 2.0 has 2 sensor's as they might be different???? i did wait well over a month from pumaspeed! Customer service was shockingly shit!

got my reply from pumaspeed finally. they said the manifold is the right 1 and it should only come with 1 lambda even tho it will put the light on the dash it should run ok. does the st170 flexi pipe fit without 2 much work and i need to extend the wiring for the bottom lambda. what sort of wiring is needed? any help would be greatfull

it wont run great my st had it on and it was overly juicy on fuel and then started throwing more codes which i didnt know about, that could have resulted in one fked engine! I was lucky i bluefinned and cleared then bypassed this problem.

i have a w reg 2l and that only has 1 sensor, the later cars came with 2. the second is purely there to check the function of the cat so make sure you use the first sensor/wiring harness as its this one that used to control your engine. i would have thought thered be 2 bosses for sensors in the system unless the second sensor is further down in the flexi section?? EDIT: and then you just run an lambda/O2 sensor cheater which is a little plug and play wiring harness that fools the car into thinking its got a cat on it and so doesnt put the mil light on!

with regardss to fitment if its like my focus central 4-2-1 it replaces the standard manifold and front mounted cat and bolts directly to the standard flexi section. cat back systems seem to be from the flexi back though which is weird but it works well as mine goes like stink and i got pretty much 150bhp in march on rr with milltek cat back, focus central 4-2-1, pannel filter and uprated cold air feed to air box and my flexi is a replacement from motorfactors and i think its a narrower bore than fords so if i find a bigger one somewhere i'll prob fit that as i recon its the only restriction left

thanks for all the replys. its the top sensor i need to plug in then not the bottom? pumaspeed emailed me saying it was the bottom 1 that needs plugging in. i was thinking of getting a bluefin next.

whichever sensor is pluged in before the cat as standard is the one you need to use on your new manifold to control the engine.

tbh the sensors are the same its just the plug on the wiring harness
