Default Strange Sound Coming From Front Of Car

I've started to notice a strange sound coming from the front of the car when driving. Sounds like a 'whooping' sound. Goes like whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop. (Sorry if I sound a bit crazy but that's how it sounds lol).

I have checked all the wheel and they are secure.

Is this something to do with rack rods or ball joints? I remember my girlfriend having a similar thing on her clio.

Only way is to get your hands dirty and have a look. That type of sound could be anything.
