Default Service quest

Hi,Im just about to service my car and prob gona replace the spark plugs with the denso iridium ones (as these seem be recommended by quite few people)Just wondered if its worth replacing the HT leads or coilpack. Not sure if these need replacing at certain times or not. Or is it worth doin now mods have bin done to the car (cams, TB etc).My car will be 9yrs old in oct and dont think leads or coilpack have bin replaced. Car has only dun just over 49k miles.Wot does everyone think?Matt

The coil and leads are weak parts on a focus and if they haven't been changed it's not too expensive to put new parts in, if you can afford it, i'd changed the leads/coil/plugs aswell.

cheers for the reply m8.Im unsure whether to replace with std ford bits or whether to go for performance parts. Seen the MSD coilpack and 8.5mm (or 8mm) leads from CFM. Think they are bout £80ish for them.Jus wondered if any1 else has used these?Matt
