Default st170 fuel pump replacement?

Hey guys i recently purchased a st170 and having problems with it stalling when rolling to a stop at times and a slight surge around 80-100km/h (the rpm and speed dosent change tho). So after reading through the forums i came to the conclusion of replacing the fuel pump.

Can anyone give me a link to a site which give some instructions on how to get to the fuel pump or can anyone give me some advice? Im a diesel fitter by trade so it would be no problems for me to replace.

Do you have to remove the back seat to get at it?

If its stalling when pulling up to stop I'd say your idle control valve has had it, common failiure point on these engines! Much cheaper and easier to do than the fuel pump too, so may as well give that a go first!

I would get it put on a diagnostic machine. Its pointless just replacing parts in the hope that it will fix it. Unless your very rich that is!
