Default 2litre throttle body

does anyone no the dimensions of the throttlebody the square bit where the mounting bolts go to

In partinton mate. i got my old tb ere but the base isnt an exsact sqaure length ways one side is roughly around 83mm and the other side is 79-80mm then width ways its 90mm. wot u doin to it? u prob be better off getting hold of one. like i say its not quiet squared shaped!

i was wondering if it fits in place of my 1600 body on my zetec se inlet.they do look very similar

it fits and is quite a nice mod according to a friend who did it (better response, quicker revving)... it does however requires some custom work - a custom "spacer" and some work with throttle line fix - nothing serious though

spacer was custom, but you can do it yourself...

was a spacer made to sit between the throttle body.i did try and just bolt it on i didnt put the throttle cable on and it just reved up to 3thousand revs dont no why.
