Yes, but its only for masochists. Unlike a Mondeo, its not just a digital panel, a flapmotor, some sensors, and pneumatics. Some people also say the actual control logic is quirky/poor.

In addition to the digital panel, sensors, its a different heater box and loom with all flaps controlled by stepper motors. To swap the heater box means removing virtually everthing in front of the seats. That's a couple of days work.

A few have done it , but most listen to the advice and look for Climate Control already fitted in their next Focus.

As above, a huge pain in the back side. I have it in my ST170 as part of the Climate pack and TBH its not great, it works dont get me wrong but it takes a little while to kick in and regulate the temperature. Works best on Auto mode

Don't bother. The climate control in my old st170 was shit, would pump out red hot air for fucking ages in the morning roasting you to bits just to get the car to 20 degrees, was always twiddling around with the temp control to get it sensible.

The climate control works really well in my new st though!

What, no one going to mention being blasted with cold air from the top vents in Winter just because its sunny!

Actually, although I opened the door for the elaborations, I've never really found it to querky in either the retro-fit on a 2002 Zetec or my current (from new) Ghia. If I want to over-ride it, there are plenty of buttons to play with.

The thing that would be really nice though, but might cause even more confusion, would be a cabin temperature display option.

People are getting too clued up on the amount of work and other parts needed.

The 'smart' sales pitch is to sell it as a spare as 'electronics modules are known to fail' - but how often?
