Default 2003 focus front subframe

Hi, can anyone tell me if its necessary to use locating pins when replacing the front subframe on a focus or will marking position before removal be ok. How critical is it.
cheers

There is adjustment in the subframe but it is very minimum, i would not worry about it too much, get the car tracked after and it should be ok.
I dropped my subframe off to polybush my front ARB and i just bolted it back up, i have had zero unusual tyre wear or any issues at all in the few thousand miles i have done since and i have not had mine tracked
