a friend of mine has a focus rs running circa 300 bhp, he is interested in ways to get the power down better, ie an uprated diff ,,,, anyone know much about these or can point in the right direction?

 

best suggestion is the adreneline racing anti jumping kit - i know keith robertson has one of these and it helps eliminate wheel hop

In addition KW Coilovers with the correct setup will help

Quiafe also do an uprated diff for the frs but it's not cheap!!!!

Focus RSs come with a Quaife ATB as standard.

 

Plenty of 300+ cars not running the "tramp kit" without any issues, waste of
money imo.

it does yes but i still believe that quaife do an uprated version!!!

 

A gripper diff might be good, as I think it locks up rather than being an ATB style that the FRS comes with. This would be better for straight line stuff, but not so good for track/handling
