ST170 Spacers..
Got some 12.5mm wheel spacers for the rear, as the standard wheels look a lil lost in the arch..having slight second thoughts.
Is it worth putting them on or sticking on ebay?
Also hoping to do at least a 20mm Eibach drop or 30/35mm drop if i can find the springs.
Any advice/opinions
Thanks

Eibach springs are the best you can get, unfortunately the arse end of the ST170 sits high even when lowered on any springs. My advice is to import the american ST170 Eibach Sportline spings that lower the front 20mm and rear 35mm, so the car sits totally level
You dont need the spacers, there is no real benefit

Yeah, I had eibach springs on my last 170 and agree the back was still very high, but I will look out for the US version sounds a good option.
The spacers are a ford part were used on the FRP, they fit behind the hub so the offset of the wheel doesn't change.
Apparently they will 'improve' handling, what you reckon? noticeable difference in handling?
Thanks

I think to be honest it will make it handle worse, the front track will still be the same however the rear will be wider. Cant see the point in it to be honest, they handle very very well as standard!
most fwd cars run a wider track at the front. It's to help reduce the lift off oversteer. As standard the focus runs a lot of rake in the geometry, making lift off oversteer more of an issue, so it wouldn't be adviseable from a handling point of view to increase the rear track. Would look better though!
