What would it take to fit 18" Mondeo ST alloys to a ST170?? are they a different stud pattern?

But you can't get an st170 on an 05 onwards.....

Its only the new shape focus that is 5 stud.

The only real way to tell would be to compare an st170 front hub to a mondeo hub, compare sizes, number of driveshaft splines etc.

I imagine that the fronts might be do-able, but the rears could be more difficult!

If you do go for it, let me know how u get on

I shall investigate, i love the improved factory look and i thought a set of almost identical St170 wheels but in 18" would look ace, if it proved too expensive Oz Super T's might be the only way

I have now seen 5 stud conversions done on a focus via re drilling the hub, from what i can gather the mondeo and focus hub is very similar, need to be the two together, it seems the fronts might be easy as pie to do as it will be a parts swapping excercise but the rears might be difficult

See if you can find and compary wheel bearing dimensions. Have alook about online, most sites that sells them tells you the dimensions. As long as the inner diameter and the width is the same then its looking like its possible.

Just have to compare driveshafts!

Could be worth perhaps getting a mondeo hub and a focus hub from a breakers perhaps?

One thing i have spotted is that the wheel bearings have a different part number on the focus and mondeo, the ST220 even has a unique drive shaft and bearing to most other Mondeo's too. Still investigating!!
