Complete waste of time. Save your money for the turbo conversion.

I plan to re-sell them and being hoonest, the complete turbo isnt gonna be happening for a few years yet and want a decent power upgrade in mean time! Any ideas ?

Want something easy to fit, decent power hike for my set up and most of all cheap !!! something second hand would be good !

There is nothing, other than nitrous oxide. You'd spend thousands on a zetec engine (or mostly any smallish n/a engine) to get a noticeable power increase. Save your money.

Strip out the interior and remove the spare wheel and any other junk, worth a few bhp and costs nothing.

That wont increase bhp. just improve the power to weight ratio.

If you really mean extreme cams, as pa-sjo says it will cost a fortune as solid (no shims on top) followers are needed, and even then not give too much except make it difficult to drive.

I've fitted Crower Stage 2 cams to a couple of Focus for people and the result was a better mid-range (the worse thing with 1.8s) and around 15 bhp on max power. As well as cams and pulleys, cost of fitting (including reshimming) and optimal set-up on a RR has to be allowed for.

I would say you need to look at tb's and decent management, but as said I wouldn't bother(on 1.8), just drop a s/h 2L lump in first.
