changed fuel filter now wont start

Default changed fuel filter now wont start
hi
changed diesal fuel filter on focus 1800 tdi 02 reg
now won't start, taken the fuel pipes off the top of filter, turned engine over no fuel coming though
help please

hi try fill filter with diesel before fitting if pos, not sure on that model. refit all pipes then try start. fuel system should bleed its self. wont bleed with pipes off.hope that helps
