Default focus 2.0

had a few small problems with my family car when i brake it feels like its going to cut out why is this??? also i changed the plugs and 2 of them where dripping with fuel/oil not sure what??

any ideas??

Probably the coil pack causing both faults, trying to run on 2 cylinders at tick over due to coil pack missfiring.

it could be the coilpack meaning its only firing on 2 cylinders properly hence the build up of fuel on the two plugs.
get a new coil pack mate then go from there.

Done this its stoped feeling like its going to stall but the lights etc still flicker

is the fluid on the plugs oil or fuel and if your not sure how to tell give it a smell or look see if the fluid is thick and black or thin and clear

im guessing its oil as its black.. i recon the piston rings are to blame any thoughts??

probably the rocker gasket cover mate if its oil

if the rings were gone there would be loads of smoke out the exhaust getting worse as the oil heates up,

if it is stugling to idle when stood still but running on all 4 cylinders i'd say it was a fault with the idle control valve as these have been shit on fords since they first used them in late 80's early 90's.

btw any fluid on the spark plugs will look black as the cylinders are full off soot and turn everyhing black just like youe exhaust pipe etc.
