I am thinking about fitting a dump valve to my FRS,i know it has to be a twin piston due to the air mass meter but was wondering what ones everyone else has?
I'm thinking about a baily DV36, the venturi style one does anyone know if it sounds good?
Cheers
I wouldn't use a atmos DV Like the DV36.You may end up with stalling problems.
The FRS likes a recirculating DV like the Forge 007. If you are looking for the 'dump' noise change the air filter to a GEN II and you will hear the dump valve.
i want mine to chatter rather than dump idealy, i was thinkin of gettin k&n gen 2 and if need to the forge recirculating valve.
do you know wot sort of noise this would give?
I had a GGR atmospheric dump valve on my Focus Rs, to stop it stalling i had to adjust the base idle speed.
why the different name here? just registered?
surely thats not a great thing to do? Couldnt you do the ecu reset with disconnecting the battery for 10 mins? My car stalled at start but "learned" and after 100 miles ish was fine!

Been registered for a while but always on the rs bb!! That's the reg i was after at the time i joined this forum, so that's why.
Don't need to worry about dump valves now, don't think i'll be fitting one...
