do a st170 change there is a place in b'ham that will sell i every thing u need engine gearbox loom ecu shafts mounts the lot for Ł990 i think thay are on ebay

i would say that would be the best way

cause then u get 170bhp 6 speed and its all focus stuff so bolt in and away u go

i hignly recommend the ford centre big andy there supplied and fitted everything i did engine and loom wise. my car went form a 1.6 to a FRS engine. you need a full loom etc for a swap but tehy will provide everything. the st stuff will go straight in too.

interms of a mondeo engine again youd still need the loom ecu etc. however id imagine the loom would be alot of work to modify.

an RS conversion will setyou back alot more a full set up will cost 3 times an ST. best bet if your after performance is the ST engine the 2.0l mondeo engine isnt as quick could be but with more pennies spent. IMO the ST 170 is the best option wont cost stupid money

when mine was done the full interior loom was changed and modified the whole car was stripped ecu. all has to be done.

you can pick up an st170 for around 4500 now anyways so maybe more worth doing? cost wise makes sense

an st170 would not kill a 2 litre corsa.

It would be far easier and cheaper to sell your car and buy an st170 if thats what you wanted.

A 2lt swap would be much easyer then a st170, Trsut me i have now done both as my focus did start as a 1.6 then went to a 2lt and now just finishing the st170 swap. with the st swap you will have to change much more parts liek the dash loom all the engine bay looms clock's gear changer, and loads more bits like fuel lines as well.

With the 2lt you will only need the engine bay loom and ecu and you will be able to use you old dash loom and speedo. i do have a 2lt engine and loom and ecu for sale soon as well.
