exhaust, manifold etc setup on a 1.8 so it barbles and pops.

theres a few nice sounding focus's about, and wondering what setups people have got to make there car pop and barble. im looking at getting a 1.8 or maybe a 2.0l, and just wondering about the start mods. exhaust, de-cat, 02 cheater, manifold and sealed induction (maybe bmc). and thinking what set up people have.

then maybe cams, and mapped. and at a later stage poss turbo'd so ts actually quick haha.

I have a piper dacat and cat back system with O2 cheater, rather than pop it spits the odd flames if run on good fuel makes a great sound when pulling off, as for induction i have a BMC on mine and sounds amazing.

 

is the piper decat the one with the manifold aswell? or am i thinkin of a diffrent one. sure theres one that is a manifold and de-cat

 

Mines on a 1600 so my manifold is at the rear of the engine not at the front, but your right for the 1800 are the manifold and decat.

 

just thinking of the problems when coming to mot and putting decat back on, be a full manifold and decat back on. could be a pin in the rear
