can i see a pic of your engine bays please,

espesially if u have a DV or somthing diferent to the origional setup,

mine is std but am wanting some noise i.e inductionn and chatter,
whats have people done to them?? cheers

 

you can gte some induction noise with a k&n2 but you need a dump value as the turbo don't like running without them. plenty of pics in the frs section if you look.

 

I'v got baileys evo dv. still get a wee bit of chatter through it tho.

why did u change back to recirc mate?

if i got a DV26 could i just fit it on DV take off from cooler box? it doesnt have to go on a boost hose does it?

 

Yes the DV26 can be run from the rear of the chargecooler box - you'd just need a bung to block the take off for the small original recirc chargecooler boost hose that runs to the front of the car.

TBH i went back to recirc as after 6 months the sound of the atmospheric dv was getting annoying for me & i also had probs with the car stalling like a few other FRS owners have when fitting an atmospheric dv - was also advised by Rob @ SCC the car runs much better on a recirc dv anyway & overfuels far less too

Currently running the GGR airbox with K&N filter enclosed - not a big fan of the gen II tbh
