Default MK2 Focus RS??????

One of the guys at work has been telling me that this is in devolopment and that it'll be out toward the end of next year? He also reckons it'll be running over 300 brake and running 4WD

I've had a look round the net, but can't find anything, but he insists he's read it in one of the motoring mags, and that it is happening.

Anyone else heard anything?

It's happening. Read this week's Autocar. Sadly so far looks like only 2 wheel drive. Needs 4 Wheel !

i agree with sandyrs should definitly be 4wd, also it does look ugly come on. Mk1 FRS looks much better & nicer.
Think i might just convert my FRS.1432 to 4wd in the end. As ford are just messing about.

Sorry Mk1 FRS any day.
Hopefully Ford comes to their senses.

If they want my custom again, they better hurry up and bring one out. I wouldn't buy an ST.

I've seen some reports in Auto Express.

A RS badged mk2 Focus would be cool, but if they bring it out now it will over shadow the ST just like the mk1 RS did to the ST170.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did, after all the RS has about 45bhp over a st170 - so a mk2 RS would probably have about 100bhp over it.

We'll have to wait and see.

300hp, 2wd, and either a 5 pot or a 6 pot engine (not yet confirmed).
Wolf/Code Red have one for mapping purposes apparently.
