Ive owned my FRS for about a month now and overall, I am extremly chuffed with it. Only slight query I have with it is; sometimes when reversing, and you press the brake it makes a knocking kinda sound. I have no idea what it could be. Its coming from somewhere underneath the car. I had it serviced at an independant Ford specialist a few weeks ago, and they picked up nothing. Any ideas anyone??

Ive found out what it is, if anyone is interested!! Had a few replies to the problem on www.rsownersclub.co.uk. They said this:-

"This 'belongs' with the Brembo brakes. Reversing and press the brake will give you a knocking sound. Drive forward and press the brake again, there is again the knocking sound. Nothing what you or Ford can do about it."

i would have said pads aswell steve comon fault usually if you fit cheaper aftermarket pads

Yeah cheers Chris. I was actually gonna ask you to have a look what it could be when I brought it in to be serviced, but completely forgot!
