Default focus rwd conversion

would a mk1 2001 focus been converted to rwd not using sierra floor plan but like https://passionford.com/forum/restor...eel-drive.html did his but only changing the transmission tunnel need a IVA or would it be better to bolt in like http://www.kugelkomponents.com/focus/focusv8.php also thinking about changing a saloon to a 2dr, but want to avoid a IVA as test centre is over 100 miles away

Yes, Any serious alteration to the body shell should mean an IVA.
And with a different engine, different rear suspension and probably different front suspension it'll end up on a Q plate.

But, there are loads out there that haven't had one.
