Hi people

Been a while since ive been on here back to a good old ford..and the problems��

Just had a headgasket water pump and belt done on my focus 1.8 duratorq diesel.. now the revs are rising when changing there gears..the higher revs the more it revs when the clutch is depressed��

Any suggestions? Theyve changed the clutch switch on the pedal.. now there saying could be a bad connection but it wasnt doing it atall before??
Theyve also bypassed my egr would this cause any problems?

How high is it reving.

When the car is coasting and you have dipped the clutch where are the revs at.

 

Just a little bit glen.. the mote i rev the more its revs.. for example in 3rd i change at 5k it revs 400 or 500 rpm soon as the clutch is depressrd.

My wifes mk1 focus 1.6 16v petrol does this matey.

When your coasting to a junction and dip the clutch the revs rise toll the car comes to a standstill.
