Hi there everyone. Sorry this is my first post, I've literally just bought my ST170 as an MOT fail, but it's in great condition and only done 63k miles. I've done all the work and got a new mot, but I'm really stumped with this eml. I had 6 codes, when I first got it, it had been sitting for around a year. One was the maf, and new maf sensor sorted that easily . Two were the Lambda, they have not come back as yet. Here's the three codes remaining, which keep coming back. I did wonder if the codes are correct as I've just got a ebay code reader (although saying the the maf it told me about was correct)
P0761 - shift solenoid C (I thought only an auto had these?)
P0182 Fuel temperature sensor A (does it even have one? I can't find anything? Is this not a diesel thing?)

Any ideas welcomed, please help

 

code p0761 relates to either low of filthy trans oil or worst case a faulty solonoid

p0182 is as stated and yes it has one

those ebay code readers are hit and miss if accurate

 

Thanks for the quick reply I'll get the trans oil changed straight away, give it a good clean up and cross my fingers. Do manual gearboxes have solenoids then? I thought that was an auto box thing.

As for the fuel temp sensor, where is it? I can't find any info on the net, or the part on ebay or euro car parts.
