2003 focus tddi, strange behaviour.
Help please,
My car starts and runs fine, then without warning there is a violent momentary judder, which I think is an electrical failure. Panel lights come on then everything returns to normal. Happens in any gear and at different speeds. Checked all electric connections and they all seem fine. Took it to a local garage who put it on a hand held computer, but could not identify the fault. I had to change the speedo some 18 months ago after the original failed,second hand unit off ebay. When starting the dials on the unit all go from zero to full revs and speed, then fall back to normal. Could this be the probem? Help please.
