Default MK1 Focus RS vs ST170 vs 2.0 Blacktop block

What's the difference between the 3 blocks if any?

The RS block doesn't seem to have core plugs at the front

whereas the ST170 does (unsure about normal 2.0 block)

and what's a CGI block (Yes it is real and not a special effect &#128513?

I’ve not had my hands on a genuine Rs block. Every single other Rs engine part but not the block.
I under stood the Rs block was just a standard 2.0 of the line ?

The St170 does have a few differences. I never noticed the core plugs. There are a few machined bits missing. There is also a differance with the rear oil gallery as it has an extra drilling in it that is plugged off.

Interestingly, the Mazda version is differant to both the above.

As for a cgi block, I will never get to own one. Not that I really want one.
