Default heater control problem

My heater controls have stopped working apart from setting 4 what would it be for all but 1 to stop working, its a mk1 focus

It'll be the risistor pack being fucked from previous posts about the subject

not sure if its just plug and play or a solder job though so may want to wait for someone who's done the job to explain what's what about the chsnge

Need to get it fixed asap, already hate using setting for 4, plus how do I get to the resistor

You need to drop the glovebox down and you can then see the resistor pack.

Does your passenger footwell get wet?

Found it, just got 2 from the scrappy, 1 white and 1 blue if there a difference between for Ł5, no footwells are dry. They are a farce to get not a lot of room for a screw driver

all fixed now, lucky I got little hands with being a tight space to work with, going to keep the other one I got as a spare incase this one dies on me

When the glovebox is down there is a hole that you can fit a lengthy screndriver down and fortunately the screw seems to stay sat in the pack, i changed this last week, doddle. Changing the water pump, isnt.
