Mk3 rain sensor problem
Hi all,
My car is 2009 focus Mk3. It don't have auto headlight and auto wipers.
I want to do some updates for it.
Auto light control module and rain sensor were purchased for the update.
I know the rain sensor can control auto light and auto wipers, but I don't know how to connect rain sensor to my car.
Maybe connect to GEM? Or to the other module?
Who can help me? Or provide me some diagrams for this connecting?
Thank you

But I think the windscreen would not be replaced for the sensor. Because the sensor can be stickers on windscreen.
I want to have a try for that. I think it is a convenient function also with auto headlight.
But it is no idea for how connect the sensor. Just some diagrams of this parts is needed.
By the way, is your car ST? It is fantastic car! I like it!

for the mondeo, which uses the same set up, the place on the screen where the sensor mounts is specially shaped so that the sensor doesn't cross any of the heater elements in the screen and it also locates the rear view mirror under the cover
the sensor is actually a light sensor and there are much easier ways to do this than going oem
you may have to search hard for it, but there was a guy on www.talkford.com who made one for his mondeo a while back for just a few quid
hope that helps
