Hi All
I have been looking at options for my RWD project build with specs below
JE 11.5 CR forged pistons
Eagle rods
Ported head
4-1 headers
Adj cam gears
40mm quad throtle bodies
Playing with some engine software I'm seeing big losses going >290 advertised duration irrespective of the valve lift. It appears that going to a larger duration not only loses HP and torque but pushes the maxHP further up the rev range - which is expected.
What have those done regarding cam choice with the specs and some real life HP figures?
Cheers Paul (Aus)
