Default Engine swap

Hey guys,

I have a ford fiesta nk4 facelift '02 with the 1.4l engine. The car is fully paid for and now i wana start playing with it. I can get my hands on a 2.0l 16v zetec engine for a good price but now i want to know will it fit in my car??

Please help if anyone can, ive been looking for results for quite a while now and so far nothing. Please help

Won't fit and won't run. A zetec was never fitted to the mk4

okay so the what performance engine can i fit into the car? and please dont tell me the 1.7l puma engine 'coz from where im from we dont get those cars so i cant get that engine...

a 1.6 is the only way up it if you don't have access to 1.7s

i was considering the 1.6 but as far as i have asked around, its kind of a waste to turbo mod a 1.6...

Will fit, just needs one custom engine mount. Aftermarket ECU to run it.

Zetec-E 1.6 is ALWAYS waste of money. Zetec-S 1.6 is better for N/A use.

Severnvalley put a 2.0 16V turbo in such a car ten years ago. 300+ bhp. As mentioned before: custom engine mounts and "small" modifications.

For this car a blacktop Zetec might be the better choice because of engine mount position. Just be sure to use a IB5 gearbox with the Zetec. The MTX box fitted to Mondeos, Focus' etc. with this engine won't really fit into your engine bay.
