Running probs
Hi all, at my wits end with my fiesta rs turbo.
Just finished restoring her full strip down, resprayed, engine rebuilt running all as per factory spec even down to the radio and the exhaust.
Engine starts fine cold and hot, is very lumpy at idle and hard to drive at slow speeds it jalts when applying power at low end but when at higher sppeds like on the motorway when i get to cruise speed i can still feel the jalt, its like at a certain postion on the power it dosnt want to run nice.
Parts iv changed
Iv tried 3 different TPS's
3 differnt ICV's all been cleaned
a differnt coolent temp sensor
2 other speed sensors
New fuel pump and did away with the in tank dampner.
2 brand new map sensors but they were after market one's (Fuel parts they were called)so iv put the one i got with the car back on but iv bought another ford one off ebay.
Made sure all connections are clean and sprayed a little wd40 in them.
Had mixture checked and adjusted but iv fidled with it since as it made her no better.
The only things i havnt changed as i dont have any are the crank sensor and the air temp sensor
Dont know if i should just book it in with motorsport in blackpool.
Many info would be greatfull, will

in more than 15 years of ownership mine has had 1 CPS problem and 1 fuel pump. the only other issues have been third party bits!
OK a fiesta RST will not have the straight line performance a cossie can have but being a lot smaller they are very agile round the bends and they cost less too (most of the time)
That is the pot calling the kettle black!
