Yes you can check for an air without it running, but you will need a turbo on there. Just fill the engine with air from a compressor.

Oh, I just thought....

On ours, we take the air filter off and do it through there, but you MIGHT have an issue because of the metering unit, I wouldn't have thought so though.

But you will have to make something to form an air tight seal, or as good as to go over the metering unit because if you attach the air line anywhere else the air will just piss out of the air filter.

We can do it. We have an adaptor that goes on the Turbo. Obviously with an MFi RST we would have to put it after the Metering head.

Shame we are so far away!

Cossie Management is EFi. EFi stands for Electronic Fuel Injection. If you have no Metering head is must be Electronic.

So to put it in perspective, the first 4, seemingly done by a poor company, all failed within 500miles, a couple of them almost instantly, so they really can be ruled out of the equasion totally...

So the one fitted now has actually done 7500 trouble free miles at 21psi but has now failed?

Ok,
If Turbo Technics have supplied that turbo for a Bosch KE equipped RST, presumably they TOLD YOU when you bought it that it must run a dump valve, as they have supplied it to be fitted to a car that doesnt have one as std? If they neglected to tell you this, surely, the unit should be repaired under warranty?
