Default Revlimitet - on the MFI

I have got a hold off how to change the revlimitet on the MFI setup..

But i don't know what it will change it to......

So is there anybody that knows.....

WTF Not something you want to mess about with yourself really if you want the rev limit raised get a tunner to do it

but im after what it will change the revlimitet to..not on what it will do that i know

that capacitor raises rev limit to 7.2 k fitted it in my xr2 rst as it was cammd and had std fuel ecu.

my new rs has it done too all that happens when they chip your fuel ecu is that bit gets replaced get sumone who is good at soldering to do it

I work for an electronics company i could prob get the caps for ya but if your not good @ soldering dont bother otherwise your fuck the pcb.

that was what i was after....

Do anybody knows if you can use others size capacitor to change the revlimit let say to aprox 6800 rpm..

i searchd long and hard and unless you are realy clued up with electrics and could work it out using sum electrical equasions or fancy paying a tuner a oner to chip it to your specifications then no

think std cuts in @ 6.5k which would be fine on std cam if you running big cam run 7.2k ecu and if running std change gear earlier as std cam and turbo your not gaining anything by staying in gear at them revs

just bin told that if you only change the fuelbox and don't run a chip ECU this mod will remove the revlimit...

But a big to thoe That help

yeah but then u can only run std boost so youl take a while getting to the new rev limit

think i could only run 10psi on one of my stds ecus.

i thought big cams and that are for rst,s running 14psi+

Nope. "Big" cams are irrelevant when it comes to boost

my piper t2 285 cam kit was recomended for 14psi+ pritty sure ive read it sumwhere else aswell.

would be pritty lame running 1600 engine with lagy cam and low boost would take ages to get there
