Default ZVH

im thinking about sourcing a 2ltr zetec block and goin about a zvh conversion cuz i cant afford a 1.9 tall block.............thing is ive heard zvh engines just break all the time and are mega unreliable and there not very oil tight. is this true???? cuz i was thinking more on the lines of....if it was built properly it would be ok???

Definately agree with SufsRS mate, a well built ZVH conversion is both well worth it and reliable IMO...

Lots of people on this site have them alone and persoanlly i'd probably go with one of these over the CVH, you get much better torque from the Zetec Bottom End to start with

To be honest aswell, i'd say they were probably easier to tune aswell!

Why dont you ring a couple of tuners and see what response you get, dont listen tom pub talk mate, never worth it! HTH

i ve got a zvh!

had a few probs but that was due to mapping issues!

they are very strong imo!

well i ve seen a zvh break the 400 bhp barrier at field motorsport

and it had the same amount of torque!

im aimin for 350 bhp and lbs of torque with mine!

i also know of some mega bhp cvh s that are near to 350 bhp!

and they are 1600 still!
