There is always a chance that the stepper motor has gone. Presumbaly though the clocks were in the car with the previous engine and all worked ok?

Yeah it looks sweet, very nice indeed Fairplay if it runs ok with power steering, not the best engines in the world at idle. Me personally i would of done away with power steering, losing valuable horses but then thats just me im not a fan of power steering anyway.

Top marks though

Nah fully synthetic all the way, its an RS bottom end yeah? Not a ZVH?

I run mobil 1 10w40 Fully Synthetic cos muy mate gets it free, by the spec its 0w40 or 5w40 recommended but 10w40 is a popular choice i believe.

The same just a standard RS.

0w4o is by the spec i believe, but some run slightly thicker to aid quietening down the top end, porne to wearing. What your have should be fine though, should be better for your turbo in theory too, thinner oil
