Default PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!

Need help!!!!

My bro has got a Series 1!!

We think its had a fuel leak, but there IS fuel in the car!!!!

Drivin to get a new fuel line, an the Car Dies!!!!!

Could this b somethin 2 do with the fuel line not givin enough preasure 2 put fuel into the engine?? Or could it b somethin else?????

If it's got a leak you really shouldn't be driving it with hot exhaust pipes around!!!!

The main fuel line from the pump to the filter will be carrying best part of 6 bar of fuel pressure. A leak will cause it to spray out like a hose pipe and the pressure to drop.

Any ideas where the fuels entering the car, thats a very strange one!!

I wouldnt drive it as DazC said thats suicidal!

Which pipe have you broken or dont you know yet?

Its in the garage now, so were goin 2 look at it 2moro with a slight Hangover!!! LOL

Well if your guna be hungover just remember not to spark up while your having a look lol

Rather than run it, bridge the fuel pump relay so the pumps running without the engine being on, bit safer than fuel spraying onto a hot exhaust.

I expect your problem will more than likely be one of the push on pipe connectors, my A reg cabby had a leaky one after i sorted the low fuel pressure problem, although mine was only weaping.
