it clips onto the oil return pipe from the turbo

ive just bought one from ford and its a silver piece of resins which goes rond the whole starter and is surcured with a zip tie?

have they given me the wrong part?

I have never seen one like that before

The one I bought was made of fibreglass and was moulded to clip round the starter motor.



(why the fuck am I up so early on a Saturday morning!? )

the one in the picture is the same shape as the one Ford list for the S2. it clips onto the oil return pipe from the turbo!! a new one from ford is more silver in colour though!
i only know this cos i bought 2 of them from ford recently!

the fibreglass type one that zip ties onto the starter motor is a Zetec one!!

trust me cos i know!!!!!!

strange but true Tony T.

i was in my local ford dealer for an hour trying to find it on the computer!
they had got the zetec one first and it will actually fit! i just wanted an original one so searched till we found it!
