Default NORMAL OR IS IT???

When my car is really cold like left for 2-3 days. its starts first time turn over. when i start to drive her the revs are 2000 and stay with 2000 revs till the car warms up then goes back to 1000 rev..

Is this ok

I think thats just part of its "warmup" procedure ?

Im sure others will tell you if it's otherwise!

well mine hovers around 1500 rpm when cold then sits just below 1000 rpm when warm. i think if its running right when warm then its ok

mine does this too.

only does it when its chilly. never did it during the summer

It's the cold start valve putting extra fuel in so the revs sit a little higher.

The rev's lower when it gets to the temp the cold start valve switches off.
