Default Cold start

it the mornings when starting my rs, i turn and hold the key over for a about 5 secs before it actaully starts (jus turns over), when it does start it misfires for 2 secs then idles fine, any ideas?

2 secs misfire may have something to do with your injectors try a additive for injector cleaner

Try disconnecting your cold start valve on the rear of the inlet manifold and see if that makes any difference as they are known to be problematic.

mine does the same, wouldnt worry about it, its just the cold weather

They are a bit crap when it comes to cold starting but as most have mentioned, try the cold start valve, most cars start 100% better without it. Nice one Bosch

tried disconecting me cold start valve, it wouldnt start at all untill i plugged it back in again!

just hold ya foot flat on floor till it starts and maybe prime petrol pump couple of times between
