does anybody know of any rst opening rears but in green tint as apposed to the brown/gold series1 tint as i wana put em in my series2.
does anyone know where i can get some plz?

 

I did see some on ebay a month or so ago, so there about, but dont come up very offen.

 

lhd series 2s from germany had opening rear quater windows and they came in the green tint.

not quite sure how you could get a set, mite be worth trying the rs centre.

 

A few of my mates have the standard brown ones in their S2s and it really isint that noticeable

 

I just changed my door glass to bronze tint to match. I seem to remember somebody saying that the green tint glass was available from Ford

 

I THINK you may be able to still get green tint from Ford Europe.

 

Green tint glass was still avail when I last checked...(All be it a long time ago!) I think its the rubbers and the catches which are not avail but the window screws are the same as on the KA i beleive. and the conversion has obviously got more popular now!

 

cheers for your help so far people, thats great. i thought of maybe gettin just the series1 bronze tint as it would alot easier to find then gettin a window tint company to tint my windows but v v v lightly so u barely notice as this will give the whole car a smoke tint style.

 

Mate, I have the finis codes at home from when I got my green tint rear 1/4's I can find this if you want. I do remember the glass was about £50 a side.

And looks 100 times better than the bronze S1 glass

 

Your other option for the glass at least is to find a glass replacement company (the type the insurance companies will use when your car has had it's windows smashed) and ask them if they will be able to supply you with the green tint glass, im pretty sure they will be able to. It still leaves you with the problem of the seals / hinges etc...
