Pace 1/2 IC Fitting?
I already know they aint brilliant, but it will do for now.
Anyways, how the fuck do you get it in there????
been trying to get it in & there is no way without either taking the whole metering unit out, or taking the rad out, neither of which i want to do. I though it was a direct replacment, so was expecting it to fit in?
An i have also crooked my back in the process.
Anyone in north east want to fit it for me? pretty please

You need to whip the front bumper off mate. With the cooler there should have been brackets to mount the rad (as removing the original cooler you lose the top and bottom mounts for that side) and to relocate the fan more to the left of the rad as you look from the front. Then it should just be a case of popping it onto the hoses doing up the clips and putting the front bumper back on

too dark to remove front bumper now, never mind.
will have a go at the bumper tomorrow. How does that come off?
Cheers for the help mate, just hope my back pain eases off overnight

It Wasnt Me!
bumper has either 4 bolts/2screws or 2 bolts/2screws
scerws are located either side of the bumper at the wheelarch. usually rusted, drill the heads off
bolts are on the front pannel 1 or 2 on either side. you just need to remove the nuts as the bolts are captive on the bumpers, bit of a squeeze but easiest is usually with the front jacked up slightly or might be able to get at them from the engine bay squirt liberally qwith WD half hour before doing it, will make life easier.

you can get the inner 2 nuts from inside the engine bay! the 1 outer nut can be a nightmare cos the washer bottle is in the way on the passenger side, the other side is easy.also a screw in each side of bumper to the wheel arch.
