If your actuator is good it usually wont drop a whole lot, it will drop some however.
it will peak, tail off and as the revs rise it may pick up slightly more.

This may seem a litlle obscure:
How accurate is your boost guage? Can you feel a noticable difference as the boost drops off?
Ive seen a lot of boost guages sugest that (X)psi is being run however when tested the sugested readings are way out!

what is the amal valve mate said to have a look at thats sorri guys my first turbo so im learnin cheers for ya help by the way
my engines modifeid to around 180-195 bhp runin asfar as i knoe 15-16-psi should i adjust this down up etc???
theres a reall flat spot when im in boost hit the rev renge drops then doesnt seem to pull back quick atall ???
also the boost gauge flicks up and down quickly

The boost guage will flick up and down quickly when you change gear or lift off the throtle as it switches from boost (on throttle) to vacume (of throttle)
DO NOT adjust the boost yourself, it WILL end in tears
The amal valve is a form of boost control, im sure it basically brings the boostin softer rathern than without where the boost would come in hard and make the car less driveable.
