flip out screen in series2 turbo

Default flip out screen in series2 turbo

does anyone have a screen that flips out in their series2?? mine comes out but cant go all the way coz it hits on the dash. i would put in where air vents are but ive got the 3 gauges in there. anyone got any good ideas plz?

i had one fo these, but i had adjusterments on the side of the head unit that i cud unscrew and screw back in further back on the head unit so it stuck out more

dunna if urs is the same mine was a Kenwood

Eaaaaasy

Take out the guages, cut the top bit to din size, mount stereo where the vents were.

Then make a din sized backing, 3 holes, and mount the guages in the stereo hole

or take out the whole assy and have a screnn flush mount , im doing it soon

tillio, what did u use to support the weight of the unit wen puttin it where the vents are. did u make some sort of bracket to support the back of the unit?

Nope, no brackets

The top part was one of the old Nomad fibreglass mouldings, so it was strong from the beginning
