Bubbly roof
Around my sunroof, there is a fair bit of bubbling, its not massive, but i suspect it to be holed, so, whats the best option??
new roof panel
find scrap shell with good roof?
patch up existing roof?
many thanks!

Depending how far gone it is you may be able to repair it. Failing that a new roof skin isn't the end of the world although it needs to be done by a competent body shop.

Roof panel mate.
As Oranoco says, get a good bodyshop to fit it or it will look crappo.
Someone off here actually replaced the full roof skin & posted pics a while back (prob last yr sometime) but can't remember who it was. Looked quite a scary job, but was very good when finished.
Finding a new shell with good roof is a bit extreme, unless the rest of your bodywork is getting shabby as well.

tried to get a new skin for mine this year-no joy though!
had to find a decent roof on another car, had mine cut of and the replacement put on. spot on job with no probs. looks the absolute nutz now
not worth fillin or half a job, go the whole way.
what area r u in to have the job dun?

Also thinking about de - sunroofing the RS, i dont use them, and its just another place to rot.

Pics would be good mate, do you have any "in progess" pics?
May i ask what sort of price the bodyshop charged to do this, as i guess it wouldnt be cheap?
The manta was done by a mate, it wasnt perfect, but the manta wasnt made for shows, more a weapon

No decent pics as yet, there are a couple on a thread somewhere,
https://passionford.com/forum/viewto...asc&highlight=
but i had just picked it up, washed now, not taken anymore pics of it yet, think it needs a front panel, crossmember, drivers door, bonnet, roof sorted, drivers wing & a full shoot, been to scared to look underneith yet

So..... would it be easier for me to just get the roof cut & welded up?
Im not that arsed about a sunroof, so i could just find a non sr car & whip the headlining out?
