Give us some more details and we may be able to offer some suggestions...

How old are you?
How long you been driving?
Got any NCB?

etc etc....

i was 17 when i had my first rs and it was my first car. So you can get insurance but just keep shopping around. Try HIC as they are the best in my opinion.

I'm 22 with 1yr no claims been driving since i was 17. Adrian flux quoted me £1700 fully comp on my s1.

Went to admiral ... £620 fully comp. Nobody else could even get close to that.

i didnt declare any mods, as most work is internal, i would just rip out the FMIC incase of emergency!.

Oh no hun not good. I bought my rs turbo when I was 17 and they wouldnt give me any quotes at all. Mine is completely standard and I suggest you get one too becuase it might be the only way u get a quote. mine say there for a week and I thought id tried everywhere but I eventually got only 2 quotes...£3100 from budget I think that was fully comp and £2500 3rd party and I eventually wrent twith zentith (sp) actually zentith gave me a quote for £2450 and I pay that £ every month as the privce i payed for my car wiped me clean. im 18 not looking back but it does cost a lot to live up your dream and thats without any maintenece costs mine is really reliable but i just wanted onc cos they look well sexy IMO

DONT give up if you want something bad enough you can make it happen!
