Default Front suspension/steering questions!

Hey guys, as some of you may have seen in the resto section, im currently converting a strato silver 1300 Bonus into a full RS Turbo. At the moment im getting the suspension and brakes ready for putting the engine in, but i have a few questions!

Currently, the suspension is standard bonus but with spax dampers and -60mm coils. Now, i want to fit the rst anti roll bar, all new poly bushes(the current ones are proper knackered ) and some adjustable tca's. Now, is this simply a case of getting RST bushes, anti roll bar and adjustable tca's, or will this not fit with the standard 1300 stub axles, and if so, can i fit RST stub axles onto the bottom of my uprated 1300 Bonus dampers
Hope someone can help, need to get this lot rebuilt as its doing my head in(got a clonking noise from a bush or something)
cheers in advance
Danny

oh, and with the rst anti roll bar being thicker, does it need different mounts or do the bushes compensate for this and allow the us of the standard brackets(at the front)

Hi mate, you can use the bonus hub carrier that you have.Im not sure if youre brackets will be the correct size to hold the thicker RST anti roll bar,but why not get the proper RST brackets when you buy the RST anti roll bar.Should be very easy to get at any RS breaker.
Did the same thing as what youre doing, only i started with a 1400 L shell,so good luck.

Thanks for that Micky, yeh thats what i was wondering if the brackets were the same on both cars, i take it obviously not, so will get the rst brackets as well :thumb:
