Hi peeps. Got condensation in the passenger side headlight all of a sudden. Had the car 10 months and ok till now. All round headlight is covered in waxoyl and does'nt seem to be gettin in there. What causes it peeps? Any ideas and solutions gratefully recieved.

 

Normally cold night followed by early morning sunshine shining on the glass.
As long as the glass isn't cracked & there's no standing water in there, then I wouldn't worry too much mate. The condensation will go away when the water has evaporated.

Solutions... Nice warm garage? Cover the car up if left outside? Park the car the other way round to stop the sun shining on the front end?

 

Just seemed strange that it's just the pass side and not the drivers side yet glass seems to be in tact. Not worried but does spoil the look of the front end ! Mind you, if that's the only problem i got with my S1, i should think myself fookin lucky ! Will keep an eye on it. Cheers for the reply shawn.

you done well in 10 months of ownership for that to be your only problem

 

Only problem at the moment Andy. Had a couple in the past tho. Nothin major thank god. Yours was lookin good too mate. Not many S1's to look at on the day but some nice cossies to drool over. Enjoyed it, was a good day.

 

yeah was good, but i forgot my bloody camera so i have no pics of it
