Which spec S2 do you prefer?
Which do you think is better ........
mine is 80spec on the outside and 90 on the inside.
How many 80's are left?

i have a 90 spec H-Reg but ideally i would have 90 spec exterior with 88 spec interior. My car is red so would go very well with the earlier trim i reckon.

i have to concur, 90 spec on outside, 88 spec on inside, gotta love the dark with red look.. a little menacing!
especially in black and grey S2's

When I was looking for one it was only then did I realise there was a difference...I wasnt bothered as its not really big differences but what was important to me was the cleanest one regardless of age.
Looked at a 91 Grey one near me and there was more bubbles than a hubba bubba factory...and also phoned about a 86 D reg white one which was advertised in one of my dads magazines which judging from the close up pics looked flawless, just a shame a local guy bought it that night or id have been down that weekend and came home with it
I think im the opposite of eveyone I like the 90 spec interior and the 88 spec exterior but I agree the red detail would go with a red car well

my car is 90 spec, but whoever had it before me, had some small ding in it, and repaced the bumper with 88 spec, which imo doesn't look bad!
But black head lining is brilliant!

When I forst got mine all those moons ago it was 88 outside 90 seats. Over the years I added the intermitant wipe adjuster and handbrake console. Then I got more into thrashing it and now most of the 90 spec interior is in the garage and the front seats may be finding there way in there as well when the buckets come
If I was keeping the car in road trim or got another it would have to be 90 spec all the way. The earlier interior and exterior just looks so dated now

what did you need to change for that then, apart from the adjuster,or does it just clip in and away you go?
