Default What wheels should I get for the S2?

As above..... I am deciding on 16's now as I have been told u need to do arch work for 17's? But I know loads of ppl with em and they are straight on, plus mine is not lowered at all so should do ok for now? Dont really wanna have to go 16 as it means dearer tyres.

Anyway, what do you think would go best, Could someone be kind enough to photo "chop" me in some wheels and post ewm up ere? Would be greatful!

Wheels im interested in =
Compomotive MO's - white?
Toora's
Team Dynamics - Diablo's
OZ - Titan's
Masitaly VT7's
Chrome RS 7 spokes (original ones)

Any other suggestions welcome!

CheeRS guys.

i can get 16's cheap! £65 for yoko 205/40/16's! i had to mod my skirt kit for mine as mines lowered 35mm on koni's! 17's are too big for ERST in my opinion! i like my OZ's on mine, thou im a bit bias! definetly multispokes thou, or maybe some nice chrome/polished ones!

yeah some of the different size profile 16's are cheap, you try and get 205/40's thou for less than £100!
I can also get 17's for around £45 depending on make!

My 17's are no problems whatsoever lowere 45mm. No rubbing other than on full lock on the inner arch which doesn't really matter. I also think it handles pretty good, although it can tramline a bit.

Gives that extra bit of clearance I guess.

You need to cut them or roll them on a series 1 if lowered loads

im in the same dilemma, dunno what size wheels to get. Ive been told 17s rub, but ive seen loads of ersts round here on 17s and i doubt they all had arch work.

Im on a budget tho at the moment after just buying the car/chip/insurance etc....so i cant just go out and buy whatever i fancy

Mmmm i have been looking at a few, i think all out cgrome rimz are gunna make it look a bit OTT. although I can get sum cheapish I think they suit more euro hot hatchers that are modded to fcuk!

Have been really looking at a set of Team Dynamics - Diablo's, dunno if these will look any good on a s2, or if n e 1 has any? need prices as well

Default got mine

hey I know I said more upwards that I wanted the Alma's but I couldn't let these pass me by, the alma stated above will be on my car ........once
But for now, these'll do

They are 7.5*17's so the S1 arches are to be nicely filled, right or will it be a bit too much(scraping). Only prob our Technical checkup(yearly) states that you have to keep your car's original wheels.

I've bought a set of Rial LeMans in 7.5x17 with et18, which will be wraped with falken 205/40r17 falken tyres. I'm a sit scared they will rub like hell, due to the short et, but I had to buy them cos the deal was great! I paid about 600 € (400 £) for new weels and tyres!!! About the rubing, even thoght my car is lowered by 40mm, it's nothing that a little arch mooding won't heel(I hope)!!
cheers!
